The Faber-Castell Ambition line of fountain pens offer a beautiful writing instrument with an exceptional smooth nib.
The Ambition is currently available in four colors:

The metal cap snaps on and also snaps on the back of the barrel for secure posting. The clip has some spring and the name is on the side of the cap.
The standard Faber-Castell steel nib comes in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, or Broad nib widths and is a ventless design with dimples and the jousting knights on the nib, with the nib size clearly labeled. The nib is removable and swappable with other Faber-Castell pens, and sits in a cavity so you can swap the nib without having to remove the cartridge or converter. As can be expected, the nibs are quite smooth.

The pen is an International cartridge/converter (converter not included) with one cartridge included. The pen is 5.5 inches long capped, 4.75 inches long barrel to nib, 6.25 inches posted and has a barrel diameter of approximately .875 inches.
