Last week started the first official week of summer, and the weather sure has not disappointed us. We had several visitors to the shop, which is always fun, and good to see old and make new friends. Several came from out of state, and Michigan was the hotbed this week as two different sets of visitors drove over from there.

NOS Parker Flighters & More!
Lots of fun stuff this week, so we’ll get right into it. A combination of more goodies from the Stationery Store purchase and some local finds: this week we honor our hometown pen company, Parker! There are some really great and hard to find 1980’s new old stock Parker Pens here including the fabulous Falcon 50 and 50B, 75 and more! We even unearthed a 51 Flighter that does not look to have ever been inked! For the Ballpoint crowd, there’s even a couple nice silver plated and sterling models in there as well.
The Monteverde Jewelria Executive fountain pen and ballpoints are available in two matching finishes – Black Chisel and Gun Metal Barley. Fountain pens have steel nibs on a perfectly balanced writing instrument. They feature an engraved design, matched by chrome trim and a spring-loaded ergonomic clip that is both beautiful and practical. Ballpoints feature clean lines with a thinner girth for a comfortable feel in the hand, and a twist-action mechanism that uses a mini ballpoint refill.
You’ll also find the new Monteverde Jewelria Mini fountain pens and ballpoint pens! Two solid colors Cobalt Blue Line Cut and Burgundy Barley stand out against the chrome trim, and the Jewelria Minis provide a compact design, yet allow for a full size feel and writing comfort. The solid metal design is detailed with a combination of an engraved polished chrome barrel center piece, gorgeous blue or burgundy colored lacquer over a metal body, and polished chrome trim. Fountain pens have a smooth-writing stainless steel nib, ballpoints use a mini ballpoint refill.
