The Monteverde Prima is a nicely sized pen in the Monteverde lineup that will be a good fit for many users. A combination of decent size, post-ability, and nice writer make it an excellent choice.
Monteverde Prima Black Swirl
The Prima comes in a number of colors and options include fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint versions. The ballpoint is twist actuated, and the rollerball and fountain pen come with screw caps. The clips are solid and slightly upturned towards the end, to provide for easy entry and exit into your pocket. The classic Monteverde mountain range logo appears at the top of the cap which is black, to match the black end of the pen.
Monteverde Prima Turquoise Swirl
The pen comes in Turquoise Swirl, Black Swirl, Tiger Eye Swirl, Green Swirl, Purple Swirl, and classic Black, a now discontinued color.
Monteverde Prima Green Swirl
The cap posts well on the barrel end and is a decent length. Not too long, and not too short. The Prima is really a well designed pen for the masses. The section has a nice length to it so you have a number of places to grab depending on your preference.
Monteverde Prima Tiger Eye Swirl
The nib is steel and comes in Fine, Medium, Broad or 1.1 mm Stub options, and is labeled on the right side of the nib. The nib is firm and smooth. The pen fills by included international converter or cartridge.
