Noodler’s Neponset Back in Small Quantity!

For those who were just at the recent Dallas Pen Show, you may have noticed something familiar floating around the room. The Noodler’s Neponset was seen in the wild!

At the end of the show we managed to pick up a few of them to pass on to you. These were seen at the one day Boston Commonwealth Pen Show a couple weeks ago and the remainder were sent to Dallas for the pen show. Available in both ebonite and acrylic, you can find the following few colors, several with only one:

If you aren’t familiar with the Neponset, it is a large pen with the same type of converter as seen in the Ahab, but with a large three tined steel Music nib. The ebonites are reminiscent of vintage Waterman Ripple pens, and the acrylics are a solid durable material that feels good in the hand.  The pen can be used both un posted or posted, but is extremely long posted.

In case you haven’t seen the video I made later last year when the Ebonite Neponset came out, take a look for a better view of the pen, which also includes a comparison of the other Noodler’s pens:

While originally marketed as a Flexible nibbed pen, please be careful when flexing this nib as it can be sprung if pressed too hard.  Consider this a very broad nibbed pen with some softness to it and you should be ok.

We haven’t seen these in a long time, so if you have been thinking of getting one, act fast, there’s no idea when the next batch will come, and like I mentioned earlier, several of these we only were able to get one of.

We also picked up some of the new acrylic Konrads that were also released at the Boston Commonwealth Pen Show.  News on those to come soon so stay tuned!

Ink it up!
