Sailor 1911L Black Luster
The Sailor 1911L Black Luster fountain pen features black trim on a black body. The section is metal, adding a nice weight to the pen and shifting the balance nicely towards the nib. The 1911L is a cartridge-converter pen that can be filled with bottled ink using the Sailor converter or proprietary cartridges, both of which are included. The nib is ion-plated to give the unique color, and Sailor warns only Sailor ink should be used in the pen to avoid damage to the plating.
