After months of waiting, we are proud to announce the Anderson Pens Sailor Slate Blue 1911 Standard Special Edition has finally arrived! We originally announced the pen on April 4th and now, just shy of six months later, the pen is here!
Sailor Slate Blue 1911S
A beautiful pen that is not quite blue and not quite grey, the Slate Blue Special Edition has matching cap and barrel finial as well as section, and has rhodium plated trim with a 14kt rhodium plated gold nib that was originally available in all seven standard nib sizes – Extra Fine, Fine, Medium Fine, Medium, Broad, Zoom, and Music.

This pen is built on the 1911 Standard platform, which is just slightly smaller than the 1911 Large. A comfortable size in the hand, and for those with larger hands, posting the cap makes for a decent length. This pen fits well in your shirt pocket.
