The sad news of the passing of Sailor Master Nib Maker Nobuyoshi Nagahara was announced yesterday. Mr. Nagahara was 83 years old. Well known for his unique nib designs, he will be sorely missed. ITOYA of America and the Sailor Pen Company announced today their Official Sailor Press Release regarding Mr. Nagahara. He is survived by his son Yukio Nagahara, who still travels the world fixing and adjusting nibs, and also serves as the current fountain pen nib production supervisor for Sailor in Japan.
