Pelikan Blue Black Ink Now Available!

Some of you may not know that Pelikan makes a Blue Black ink.  Well, they actually do, but in 2011 they stopped exporting Pelikan Blue Black to the US.

Apparently, Pelikan Blue Black contains an ingredient not listed in the US Toxic Substances Control Act and therefore cannot be imported into the US.  This does not mean that the ink is toxic, rather that it has not been approved by the US TSCA.  The ink is still manufactured and sold in all other parts of the world, but no longer available here in the states.

Pelikan Blue Black

Pelikan Blue Black writes a dark blue and then oxidizes to a darker and darker blue, like an Iron Gall. We were able to grab a number of bottles recently and are making them available to you! We have no idea if or when we’ll be able to get this again, so if you are interested in getting some of this harder to find ink, now is your chance!

Pelikan Blue Black comes in the standard 2 ounce bottle like the rest of the line and is boxed.  Be the first on your block to get a bottle!  🙂
