Platinum Balance
These classic style fountain pens are available here in black and blue, with a fine or medium nib. They feature acrylic resin barrels and caps, gold trim, and a gold-plated steel nib. The material is very attractive, as it has a pearlescent finish, which look beautiful in light! The sections match the color of the cap and barrel as well.
This isn’t a boring nib! They are very slightly flexible with moderate pressure, so they are fun to write with, but are a precise fine/medium without pressure. In addition, the feed is very elegant and is semi-translucent.
As these are Japanese nibs, the fine and medium will write on the finer side. If you have small handwriting, or prefer finer nibs, these are a great choice.
The Balance fits well in hand, as it has a nice tapered barrel, and if you like to, the cap can be posted comfortable. The pen comes in a gift box with both a Platinum converter and a cartridge to get you started!
As the inside of the section has metal threads, we would not recommend using these pens as eyedroppers, but the cartridge/converters have decent ink capacities. The fine/medium nibs will not guzzle your ink either!
