With seven different Sailor nib options available, it can often get confusing as to which nib fits where in the grand scheme of things. Let’s take a look at them as well as the newest eighth member of the family, the Saibi-Togi.
While there is nothing short of testing these pens in person, we hope this video gives you a little better idea of the nib options available for most Sailor pens. If you are lucky enough to be able to attend a pen show in the US, don’t be shy, stop by and ask to try them out. We have a full complement of tester pens available for you to use.
The eighth option, the Saibi-Togi is a former Bespoke only nib which was discontinued a few years ago. It has now returned and is available in a limited production basis. The nib measures .12 mm.
Currently available only in the special metallic red bodied Pro Gear Slim model and having a nib marking of H-SEF.
While not every Sailor pen comes standard with each of the standard nibs, many do. Just ask and we’d be happy to help steer you in the right direction! You can check out the entire Sailor family of pens here!
Ink it up!
