We never like to receive emails from vendors notifying us of a price increase, but we received notice earlier this month, letting us know that the price on some Noodler’s pens will be slightly higher, effective August 1, 2015.
Noodler’s Tiger Ahab
This is the first fountain pen price increase in several years, and the reason for the increase is due to the increased cost of raw materials in the pens. The Ahab fountain pens and the standard Creaper pens are the only ones in the Noodler’s lineup that are affected. Konrads, Konrad Acrylics, Konrad Ebonite pens, and Neponset Acrylic and Ebonite fountain pens all remain at the current price.
Noodler’s Medieval Lapis Ahab
The Ahab fountain pens will go from the current price of $20 to $23 effective August 1. The standard Creaper pens will go to $16.10, up from the current price of $14.
