Noodler’s Ink Moving Temporarily to Plastic Bottles

As was recently announced, Noodler’s Ink is temporarily switching to plastic bottles from glass. The new bottles will use the exact same cap as the glass, and will be slightly larger in size containing approximately .17 ounces more per bottle than the glass did according to the video below, although amounts may vary slightly from bottle to bottle.  You will also see a little more room at the top of the bottle, unlike the glass version which is filled to the absolute top.

Watch Nathan Tardiff from Noodler’s Ink explain the reason why in this video below:

Some of the new plastic bottles are starting to roll in and empty glass Noodler’s bottles are available in case you want to stock up.  Other good empty glass bottle options are also available when the empty Noodler’s bottles are gone.  It looks like the new plastic bottle is pretty nice (We just got some 54th Massachusetts in plastic), but for those that long for the old fashioned feel of glass, you’ll have to wait a bit before they return.  Keep in mind we have inventory of many colors still in the glass bottles, so this only affects our new orders going forward, so if there are some colors you’re looking for, now is the time to get them before they switch.

We’ll keep you informed if and when the glass bottle shortage ends!

Ink it up!
