The Franklin Christoph 19 was the second pen we collaborated with Franklin-Christoph on, and one of my favorites. Due to the complexity in manufacturing these pens, we have decided, along with Franklin-Christoph, to move to an annual production run for these pens.
That means if you want one, now is the time before next fall 2016.
Originally launched in 2014, the model 19, “1901” is a large pen, both in girth, and in length posted. The black acrylic really sets off the blue marble accents on cap and barrel. Of the four current models, this has been one of the most popular, consistently selling out when pens are in stock.
Available in your choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1 mm Italic, or 1.5 mm Italic for $225. A 1.9 mm “Christoph” three tined Music nib is available for an extra $10.
Soon to be in Production at Franklin-Christoph, we are expecting mid-November delivery. We will be taking pre-orders until October 30th, 2015. Orders placed before then will be guaranteed their choice of nib and pen. After that, we will accept orders for however remaining pens we have. While we will have extra pens made, if you know you want one, placing your order before October 30th assures you will receive a pen.
If you enjoy Franklin-Christoph pens, we know you appreciate the amount of hard work and dedication that goes into making these pens. Switching to an annual production allows for more time to make the other pens you know and love, like our Model 02 Intrinsic, Model 03 Iterium, and the new Pocket 40
Ink it up!
