Anderson Pens proudly announces our first ever joint collaboration with the Edison Pen Company to introduce the Edison/Anderson 2013 Limited Edition Bulb Filler. Based on the Edison Glenmont, the 2013 LE is reminiscent of 1920’s era flat top pens. Normally reserved for Edison Signature Line pens, the bulb filler holds an astounding 2.5 ml of ink and only fills from the bottle. This is a rare opportunity to get this unique filling system at a special price in two great materials. Each pen will be individually numbered.

The Orange swirl ebonite pen is a deep rich coffee brown with black and terra-cotta swirls. Since Anderson Pens has its roots in vintage pens we chose the ebonite because of its vintage appeal. To be able to get the look of mottled hard rubber in a well made modern pen is a perfect combination. The ebonite pen has a gold clip and a two tone steel nib (18kt nibs also available).

The Ocean Flake acrylic has never been used before in an Edison pen and due to very limited quantities, as well as the manufacturer discontinuing production, only about 40-50 pens will be made from this unique acrylic. The Ocean Flake pen has a rhodium plated clip with a single tone steel nib.

Both pens measure 5-13/16″ long capped, 6-5/8″ inches long posted, and have a barrel length of 5-1/8″. The pen does post nicely and fits very comfortably in the hand.
The ebonite pen is $300 with a steel nib, or $425 with single tone 18kt gold nib. The Ocean Flake pen is $285 with a steel nib, or $410 with rhodium plated 18kt gold nib. Pens are pre-order only, available at the web address below. Nib sizes are XF, F, M, or B in steel, F, M, or B in 18kt gold. Only 50 or so Ocean flake acrylic pens can be made. Once they are gone they are gone. The final cut-off date for pre-orders is Monday, January 14th, 2013. Shipping is $9.50 for insured signature confirmation in the US, Outside US will be $40 for express international with insurance.
