The Delta Unica is the new entry level price point in the Delta lineup. A spot previously held by the Serena, just a year ago. While utilizing the same nib, and in one case a same color as the Serena, the Unica has a whole different feel.
The biggest difference between the two would be the absence of the metal section as seen on the Serena.
The Delta Serena Red
The Unica uses the matching acrylic section which really makes for a nice clean look. The pen is also of a flat top design, with just a subtly taper towards the barrel end. This allows for the cap to post securely at the end of the barrel.
The Delta Unica Fuscia
The clip is a similar roller style clip, so it makes it easier to get into a shirt pocket, and the clip holds tight. Once it is in the pocket, you don’t have to worry about it falling out. The Delta name and “Italy” are present front and center on the cap.
The Delta Unica Blue
The nib is a stainless steel nib which is frosted and has a nice engraved pattern on it. Delta and the nib size can be seen qute easily. The nib writes smoothly with a hint of feedback. Nibs are available in Fine, Medium, and Broad.
The Delta Unica Nib
The pen is a cartridge converter filling pen, but the converter is sold separately. International sized cartridges or converters can be used.
The Delta Unica White
The Delta Unica is available in three colors, Blue, Fuscia, and White, as well as in matching Rollerballs and Ballpoint pens. You can take a look at our Unica collection here.
