Edison Herald Being Discontinued From Production Line

The Edison Herald has been discontinued from the Production line effective today. This is a sort of bitter-sweet announcement as one of my favorite personal pens is the Herald Copper Flake.

While actually being a fairly popular pen, Brian Gray of Edison Pens says it is time to mix up the Production Line and make way for a different pen to be announced within the next couple of months. What’s left is left, so as of this writing, only a few pens are available in Copper Flake and Tortoise. Crushed Shell has already been sold out.

We’re anxious to see what is coming next but sad to see this pen go.  I’m sure what comes next will be just as neat as the Herald.  Custom Herald’s will still be available through the Signature line, but at Signature line price.  Available with all nibs from Extra Fine to 1.5 mm Italic and everything in between, as well as 18kt nib options.  So, if you’ve been interested in getting a Herald at Production prices, now is the time!

Ink it up!
