The Franklin-Christoph Pocket 40 is a Special Edition fountain pen, exclusive to us here at Anderson Pens. Let’s have a quick look!
Franklin-Christoph Pocket 40
This pocket pen is a smaller version of the Franklin-Christoph Panther. This is an Ice body with an “Anderson Blue” finial disc. The icy cap and barrel gives a cool, frosty look, especially when the barrel is full of ink. This model has a long cap and a short barrel, so in the capped position, it’s small and portable. The Pocket 40 is designed to be clipless, allowing you to slide the pen into smaller pockets or into pen case slots quickly and easily.
The size and durable acrylic makes this pen lightweight and comfortable in hand. A slight taper to the section, and threads located higher up on the section make this one easy on the grip. When posted, the length and balance is perfect for regular use. In addition, you can choose from a high performance #5 JoWo steel extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, 1.1 mm italic, and 1.5 mm italic. There’s a nib to make everyone happy. These are threaded units, making cleaning a breeze.
These take international cartridges only, but if you want to increase your ink capacity or if you just want to make the barrel look really cool: eyedropper the pen! This can be done by using silicone grease on the interior section of the barrel threads, and on the nib housing the grip section threads for additional protection.
The Pocket 40 is just a touch larger than the very popular Kaweco Sport – another pocket pen that is great, reliable, and easy to carry. Pick up your own Franklin-Christoph Pocket 40 Anderson Pens Special Edition pen here! We have a few other Franklin-Christoph Special Edition pens as well.
