The Marlen Aleph flex fountain pen is a beautiful pen in mother-of-pearl resin in Lava Grey, fitted with a flexible nib.
Marlen Aleph Flex Fountain Pen
The Marlen Aleph fountain pen is a flat top with some great features. The piston-filling knob is covered by a blind cap that matches the body, serving as protection for the filler, but it also looks complete. The material is beautiful, pearlescent, and eye-catching, without being over the top. It has a full stainless steel barrel inspired by vintage flat tops, with no ornaments to break up the seamless design.
Although the pen is on the larger size, it has been designed with balance and comfort in the hand cavity in mind. Even smaller hands will find the Marlen Aleph a comfortable pen to hold, as the measurements and weight distribution of the pen are ideal for many users.
What about that flex nib? This nib is fine harmonic steel, which guarantees a good flow for controlled flexion of 1.00 – 1.50 mm – that is, the nib is optimized to flex with proper ink flow within this limit. Although many flexible steel nibs can require a lot of pressure to flex, this nib has two lateral cuts, which allows easier flexing, both in terms of the ability of the nib to flex, as well as the pressure required to flex it. It is coupled with a gorgeous clear feed that is a treat to look at when the pen is inked.
For those of you with an eco-conscious mind, the Marlen Aleph flex fountain pen comes in an eco-friendly box, made of cardboard and paper products and can be entirely recycled, should you wish to do so.
Ink it up!
