Last year we had an opportunity to purchase the remains of an old office supply store, and among the pens we found were a bunch of New Old Stock Parker pens.
These included some otherwise uncommon lower model line pens including 21 Super, 41, 51 Special, 45, and Jotter.
Many came to us in the box with stickers and foil clip labels still attached. Some had the stores own label with the “mark down” price listed (Wouldn’t you love to be able to buy brand new 51 specials for $10?). These were never inked, and just like the day they left the factory.
If you’ve ever wanted to get a new old stock Parker for your collection, or if you want to be the first person to ink a vintage pen, this is your chance. We don’t find these deals very often, and I don’t expect to ever find them again. Being in Wisconsin has its perks, and sometimes it means finding brand new 60 year old Parker pens!
And for the discerning collector, I also listed a pen not from that office supply store, a previously used Parker 51 in Plum. Yes, Plum. Not Burgundy, not Cordovan, but Plum. This also came to me across the counter at the store, and comes in its original box. It is very clean and ready to go.
You’ll also see a couple older Duofold Black and Pearl pencils in the mix too.
Ink it up!
