In an unexpected move, Anderson Pens has announced today the takeover of Kenro Industries, sole US distributors of Sheaffer, Aurora, Omas, and Montegrappa. After a grueling two days of twelve hours behind closed doors this past weekend, both parties seemed to be pleased with the negotiations. When asked about the deal, Mr. Kenro himself, said, “It couldn’t go to a better couple”.
Lisa has apparently set up her new office in the famed “Aurora” Room, while Brian has set up on the floor next door in the “Omas” Room. It has been discussed that Aurora and Omas may eventually move their distribution to a new location in Central Wisconsin, location yet to be determined, although the terms “Pen Chest” and “Pen Room” were overheard, wherever those are.
Production and development of all models will continue as before, however, a new line of Omas pens will be developed in what was referred to as code named “Tire” series. No other details were announced.
When asked about the purchase, Brian said, “It was just cheaper to buy the company than to buy all the pens we wanted for ourselves”. Lisa was seen opening boxes in the Aurora room saying, “ooohh, Aaahhh, Aurorrrrrra”.
More details as they progress.
