Well, the time is here, the 2013 Washington D.C. Pen show! This is perhaps the most spectacular pen show on the planet and is always a treat to go to! We leave tomorrow night and get in Thursday afternoon and can’t wait to see all our friends and the thousands and thousands of pens!
Well, that being said, what are we looking for this time around? I’ll just group them into one list:
1) Aikin Lambert matchstick filler – My friend Hugh has one, and well, I don’t have one. Enough said.
2) Parts – I need lots of parts, and often times I neglect the parts binder I bring because it is too difficult to remember the parts I need for about 100 pens. Maybe if I actually looked for some of these parts I could reduce that number?
3) Something modern – Maybe an Omas, maybe an Aurora, maybe a Franklin Christoph?
Other than that, we will just be grateful to spend time with our friends and share our passion for pens. Going to DC? What are you looking for? Make sure to come see us and remember we’re looking forward to some show and tell Saturday night in the lobby after the show!
