What a better way to start my first full day in the store but to receive notice that our Emerald of Chivor is out for delivery and will arrive sometime this morning!
J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor
The Emerald of Chivor is a teal colored ink with gold flecks in it. Especially effective in broader nibbed pens where the sheen and particles can be more easily seen. We don’t recommend mixing this ink with any other, and if you are not planning on using a pen with any 1670 ink in it for an extended period of time, you should flush it before storing. Also, you can gently rock your pen back and forth to more evenly distribute the particles if it has been sitting or you notice you aren’t getting as many gold flecks in your writing.
If you haven’t put in your back in stock notification, we suggest you do so, however, we have more notifications than we have actual bottles of ink coming in, so once the notice gets emailed to you, you’ll have to act fast!

The next shipment is expected sometime next month or October, and hopefully by then we’ll have enough to satisfy demand. For now we are limiting orders to two bottles per person to allow everyone to experience this cool new ink.
