Monteverde Emerald Green is a gorgeous viridian ink with tons to offer! Monteverde inks come in a conveniently sized 30ml bottle that provides plenty of ink without taking up too much space on your desk. This review was done with a Pilot Metropolitan F, Lamy Safari B and on Rhodia blank No.18 paper.
Named for the gemstone, Monteverde Emerald Green shines with the same beauty. It has low to moderate levels of shading, giving a very consistent look across both fine and broad nibs. I have always had wonderful experiences with Monteverde inks, and this one is no different!
This ink has excellent flow, low feathering, and low bleedthrough. It has no water resistance, but the color left behind by the water is a gorgeous, soft, nearly mint shade. In a fine nib, Monteverde Emerald Green dries very fast at 10 seconds, and takes a bit longer in a broad nib at around 30 seconds.
Monteverde inks never fail to impress. Like a brighter cousin of Edelstein Jade, Monteverde Emerald Green is a wonderful addition to any ink collection. It is a beautiful color sure to dazzle and delight!
