Visconti recently released a special collection of Van Gogh pens. Even today Vincent Van Gogh continues to inspire people all over the world, 125 years after his death and is even more alive than ever.
Available in both Fountain Pen and Rollerball, each piece is limited to 125 sets worldwide, but are not a numbered edition. The trim on these new pens are rose gold, with a special tulip pattern on the cap band representing the unofficial National Flower of the Netherlands. A special 125 emblem replaces the typical My Pen system typically found on Visconti pens.
Available only in rose gold plated medium steel nibs, the Visconti Van Gogh 125th collection comes complete with piston converter for use with bottled ink. International cartridges may also be used. The pen has a smooth writing nib with classic Visconti nib markings and is great for every day use. A special 125th Anniversary box with the Van Gogh Self Portrait image is included with every pen.
Like the regular Van Gogh series, these pens have a magnetic cap enclosure which makes for ease of capping as well as eliminating cap threads found on many other pens that often get in the way of your writing comfort. The pens post securely and firmly on the barrel end if you like to post.
In addition to the standard six paintings from the regular Van Gogh Collection, six new paintings are included with this set which include:
The Visconti Van Gogh 125th Anniversary collection may be purchased singularly or can be purchased as a complete set of all twelve writing instruments. The set comes complete with a special lacquered wood display box with glass top and locking lid. Paintings line the sides of the display to show the close resemblance between the colors in the pen and the paintings that inspired them.
The Visconti Van Gogh 125th Anniversary Collection is available now. If you are a Visconti or Van Gogh fan, this is a must have as the rose gold trim really accentuates the colors well on all the paintings. They won’t be around forever!
